Image Converter
Convert images between PNG, JPG and WebP right in your browser. Tune the quality, watch the file size change, and download — no upload, no account.
Runs in your browser. Your input is not uploaded to PayloadIQ.
Re-encoded on your device
The image is drawn to an in-memory canvas and re-encoded in the format you choose. Because that happens in the browser, your picture is never sent anywhere — useful for screenshots that might show sensitive details, or photos you simply don't want on someone's server.
See the size before you commit
The output panel shows the new dimensions and file size next to the original, with the percentage change, so you can dial in the quality and pick the format that gives the best size-to-quality balance.
FAQ
Are my images uploaded?
No. The image is decoded and re-encoded by your browser's canvas. It never leaves your device, which makes it safe for screenshots, designs, and private photos.
Which formats can I convert between?
Load a PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, BMP or AVIF and export as PNG, JPG or WebP. PNG keeps transparency; JPG flattens it onto a white background.
What does the quality slider do?
For lossy formats (JPG and WebP) it trades file size for fidelity. Lower quality means a smaller file. PNG is lossless, so the slider doesn't apply.
Why convert to WebP?
WebP usually produces noticeably smaller files than PNG or JPG at the same visual quality, which is great for the web. The output panel shows the size difference so you can compare.
