Which file types can I drop?
PDF, Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx, .xls, .ods, .xlsb), PowerPoint (.pptx), HTML (.html, .htm), EPUB (.epub), and CSV/TSV. The tool detects the type from the file and uses the right converter automatically.
Is anything uploaded?
No. Every format is parsed and converted in your browser — the same local engines as the dedicated converters. Your file never leaves the device, so it's safe for confidential documents.
Why convert to Markdown at all?
